Many facility managers would agree that when IEQ concerns arise, prompt attention to the matter is critical to resolution. Simple mold screening kits help personnel responsible for maintaing healthy environments quickly assess areas suspected of contamination. Sampling for fungal elements only is not to be mistaken for a full scale diagnostic study but direct microscopy laboratory analysis will determine if the specimen is allergenic or pathogenic.
