PTC Express

Worldwide Edition: August 2004

Dear subscriber,

As VP of Product Management for Pro/ENGINEER for the last three years, I’ve seen some incredible products created with Pro/ENGINEER applications, yet the new tools in Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 are truly something to see. This month’s article, ‘Making Your Design Tools Disappear,’ offers a glimpse into the new detailed design, manufacturing, and simulation tools available in this latest release. Pro/E Wildfire 2.0 now sports pervasive undo/redo. As well, it lets you easily re-order, merge, and simulate toolpaths, plus it includes a new simulation interface that eliminates cascading menus. As always, I encourage your feedback, and consider your input the cornerstone to making Pro/ENGINEER – and your designs – a success.

Best regards,

Michael Campbell
