By using the Clipboard and ProductView together, you may view an entire collection of objects at once. It’s easy to do from the details page of whatever object(s) you want to view.

Follow these steps to view your collection:

Browse to the details page of one of the objects you want to include. You will see that below every 3D thumbnail window appears a “Copy to Clipboard” icon.

Select that icon and look at the clipboard (top right hand of the Windchill window), you’ll see that you’ve added the viewable file to the list. 

Do the same “Copy to Clipboard” for multiple items and you’ll see them being added to your clipboard.

Once you have your list of items collected, open the Clipboard, select your items in the list and then select “Open in ProductView”. Notice the objects can be of all types such as models, documents, 2D drawings and images.

This will start a session of ProductView where you’ll be able to open the different items in your ProductView window. The easiest way to do that is by selecting the item and hitting your Right Mouse Button. Then choose “open in new view”.

The Viewables Tab will sort the different object by type such as Model, Document, or Image so that you can see the different items in your Clipboard collection.
