Formatting Vector and Matrix Results in Mathcad

The normal display of a vector or matrix result in Mathcad is shown below. Do you know that you have other options to display your results? You can change the alignment of the result, also called an output table, and show the indices for the rows and columns.

To change the alignment:

  1. Left-click in the result vector and then click on Format > Result in the menu.
  2. Select the "Display Options" tab. See the options below.

3. Select "Matrix Display Style: Table."

4. Right-click on the table. Select alignment.

5. Right-click on the table and select Properties. Uncheck the box: "Show column/row labels." The indices for rows and columns are no longer displayed.

6. Right-click again and select Properties. This time you can change the "Font" option.

Right-click, choose Save Target As, and change the extension to XMCD and File Type to All to
download Mathcad 14 file.
