Formatting Your Data In Mathcad Input Tables

You can control the display settings of an Input Table Component in your Mathcad worksheet.

First enter an input table by clicking in blank space in your worksheet and selecting Insert > Data > Table or by right-click and choosing Insert > Table from the popup menu.

You may type in the data values or import them from an existing file, by right-clicking on the table and choosing Import from the popup menu.

The data appears in a scrollable table with a blank placeholder for the name of the table. This table variable has been named MyTable. The variable can be used in equations just like any other Mathcad variable.

Note that this example assumes the default array ORIGIN value of 0.You can change this by typing ORIGIN :=1 in your worksheet.

You can customize the format of the table and values appearing in it by right-clicking on the data and choosing Properties from the popup menu.

The Component Properties dialog is displayed.

You may change the displayed precision of numbers in the table, show or hide trailing zeros, as well as alter the exponential, complex, and zero thresholds.

You also have the option of hiding the column and row labels appearing on the left and top of the table.

If you right-click on the table again, you can choose to hide the arguments to the table if you just want to show the table by itself.
