Nittany Lion Softball Park Opens to Rave Reviews
Penn State hit a home run with the opening of its new softball stadium, lauded as one of the best college softball venues in the country. Nittany Lion Softball Park, a state-of-the-art, $10.2 million facility, saw its first game on March 26 and was officially dedicated in early April.

Capital Day Photo Album
Penn Staters painted Harrisburg, Pa., blue and white on April 5, while advocating for the University and an appropriate state appropriation. Co-hosted by the Penn State Grassroots Network and three student groups, Capital Day 2011 included meetings with legislators by more than 400 alumni and students and a noontime Rally in the Rotunda.
