Catch Some Rising Stars
Catch some future stars of the music world on Feb. 25 at the 5th annual Penn State President’s Concert, which will feature almost 100 students performing as part of the Penn State Concert Choir, Symphonic Wind Ensemble and the Centre Dimensions jazz ensemble at The Music Center at Strathmore outside of Washington, D.C.

Pink Mixed in with Blue and White
While Penn State is not returning to its original school colors of pink and black, the Lady Lions will don pink uniforms for their Feb. 27 game against Northwestern. Going into its fifth year, the Pink Zone at Penn State has raised both breast cancer awareness and more than $162,000 for breast cancer causes. Can’t make the basketball game? E-Vote for Alumni Council Members
The Penn State Alumni Association’s Alumni Council election is going all electronic this year—a move that is both environmentally friendly and eliminates expensive printing and postage costs. Voting instructions will be e-mailed in late-March, and voting will take place April 1–May 31.
