Whether it’s to the Gator Bowl, the Outback Bowl, or who knows where, the Penn State Alumni Association will be there with the “Official Penn State Bowl Tour,” and you’re invited to join in the fun.

Favorite Phys Ed Memories
In the 1950s and ’60s there was The Jack LaLanne Show. The 1970s witnessed the start of the running boom, and in the 1980s, spandex and aerobics studios were all the rage. While exercise fads continue to come and go, required gym classes at Penn State were a staple of college life until the 1980s. The Penn Stater magazine wants to know your favorite gym class story.

From TV tailgates to senior sendoffs, alumni groups across the country host events for Penn Staters to connect and socialize with other alumni in their area. While finding creative ways to engage members can sometimes be a challenge, the Greater Jacksonville Chapter in Florida achieved success with an event by seeking inspiration from a Penn State tradition.
