Bell’s Eye View Draws Hundreds
Hundreds of Penn State students climbed the 99 steps from the lobby of Old Main to the bell tower—the last 33 up an 18-inch wide stairwell. At the top, they were greeted by a tall Lion Ambassador dressed as Abe Lincoln, the nation’s 16th president and creator of land-grant universities, and rewarded with a panoramic view on a picture-perfect spring day.

Vote for Alumni Council, Board of Trustees
The elections for the Penn State Alumni Association Alumni Council and the Penn State Board of Trustees are under way now. The elections are very important in that these alumni will represent the more than 459,000 Penn Staters by giving them a voice in the running of the University and the Alumni Association.
