For me, it was the most intense but invigorating day of the year: Saturday, May 21, the centerpiece of our three-day Alumni Leadership Conference. Some 113 alumni volunteer leaders from chapters, college and campus constituent societies, and alumni interest groups converged on University Park from San Diego, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Tucson, Miami, Washington, D.C., New York, Philadelphia, Hartford, Boston, Burlington, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Denver, and everywhere in between.

Retired Associate Athletic Director Perry Honored With Lion’s Paw Award
Ellen Perry, Penn State's longtime coach and athletic administrator, was honored by the Lion's Paw Alumni Association as the 2005 recipient of the Lion's Paw Medal. The annual award, established in 1965, honors individuals who have contributed notable service to Penn State, especially by fostering worthwhile traditions or by enhancing student life.
