Shop ’Til You Drop Aug. 25 for THON

THON will be one of the charities that benefits from the Macy’s “Shop for a Cause” event, thanks to the Dance Marathon Alumni Interest Group (DMAIG). THON will get 100 percent of each $5 shopping pass sold online. The pass is good for discounts of 10 to 25 percent at any Macy’s store or online on Aug. 25.

In order to benefit THON and The Four Diamond’s Fund, the Macy’s “Shop for a Cause Event” shopping pass must be purchased online through the DMAIG website or directly by clicking here. If shopping passes are purchased at Macy’s stores, the proceeds will go to the March of Dimes, not THON.

The $5 shopping pass provides exclusive savings on Aug. 25 in every Macy’s store and online at www.macys.com, ranging from 25 percent off regular, sale and clearance items to 10 percent off electronics, watches, furniture, mattresses, and floor coverings. Some exclusions apply.

DMAIG has two purposes: to bring together the thousands of Penn Staters who have been involved in THON over the years and to continue to support the world’s largest student-run philanthropy. Find out more about DMAIG.
