Alumni Council Elections—Vote in May

Article related photo.Alumni members of the Penn State Alumni Association will soon be able to vote in the Alumni Association’s Alumni Council elections. Ballot instructions will be e-mailed soon and online voting runs May 8–31. Elected alumni will represent the more than 557,000 Penn Staters by giving them a voice in Alumni Association governance.

This year, 18 candidates are running for 10 Alumni Council positions. Voting runs through midnight, May 31, and all votes will be cast online. Instructions will be e-mailed in the next couple of days to all alumni members for whom the Alumni Association has an e-mail address. For questions, e-mail alumni-relations@psu.edu or call 800-548-LION (5466), option 3.

Eighty-six members make up the Alumni Council, the governing body of the Penn State Alumni Association, which shapes and influences the policies and direction of the Alumni Association. Each elected member serves a three-year term. Council members serve on committees and task forces, and elect the vice president of the Alumni Association, who then assumes the presidency.

The candidates for Alumni Council, in alphabetical order with job title, company and hometown, are:
