2010 Hope Gala: It’s Up to You, New York!
Friday, Jan. 22, at 7:30 p.m.
Penn Staters in the New York City area will gather at Manhattan’s trendy nightspot Capitale for the second annual “Hope Gala.” Last year’s inaugural event raised more than $10,000. In addition to dining and dancing, this year’s gala is being hosted by former Penn State and NFL star LaVar Arrington.
Diamonds Over Georgia 2010

Liberty Ball 2010: A Knight for the Kids

The Penn State Alumni Association’s Philadelphia Chapter hosts its popular “Liberty Ball” for the fifth year. Three-course dinner, cocktails and entertainment will highlight the evening at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts.
Knight of Diamonds in the District

THON started in 1972 and, since 1977, has raised more than $61 million for The Four Diamonds Fund at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center. The Four Diamonds Fund’s mission is to conquer childhood cancer by assisting children and their families and supporting comprehensive care and innovative research. THON 2009 raised more than $7.49 million for The Four Diamonds Fund.
