The 84-member Alumni Council is made up of alumni volunteers who are elected and appointed by fellow alumni. The volunteer Council members, who meet two weekends a year, help shape and influence the policies and direction of the Association. The Council determines the policies and programs to be carried out by the Alumni Association staff and is also responsible for electing the Association president, currently Marianne E. Alexander ’62, and vice-president, Lewis H. Gold ’59.
The Association is always seeking outstanding volunteers to serve as Council members. Please contact your regional director or any other member of the Association’s Volunteer Management office for information on how to nominate candidates for inclusion on the Council ballot.
