Many groups find that consistent communication with alumni is the key to success and increased active membership. This month, we’d like to share some tips for creating and maintaining a clean, consistent, and fun look for your online and printed materials.
Images ranging from Old Main photos to caricatures of the Lion enjoying Creamery ice cream are available to affiliate groups of the Association. Group leaders can download the images from the Association’s Web site, and you’ll find that these files are in formats suitable for both print and the Web.
If your group is in need of official letterhead, envelopes, or membership cards, please contact alumni-relations@psu.edu and we will work with you to meet your needs. We can also work with our communications team to create an official affiliation group logo that can be sent to you electronically.
Of course, before you begin using Alumni Association and University images and logos, please take a moment to review the guidelines for publication and proper use of images on our Web site.
Don’t forget—we love knowing what our groups are doing. Please make sure to send copies of all newsletters and invitations to your regional director. This is also a great source of information for future stories in this e-newsletter. And many times when a group is looking for that next great idea or a new twist to an already established event, we turn to your newsletters and invitations as a starting point. It’s a great way to stay connected and share your success with other Penn Staters.
