The Penn State Alumni Association gained nearly 3,000 members to reach a record high of 159,063 members for the year ending June 30, 2006.

1976-2006: Wagon Train Show Alumni Reunite
The Wagon Train Show was a Penn State production in honor of the
United State's 1976 Bicentennial. Thirty years later, the show's original cast
reunited on the University Park campus over the July 4th weekend and put on
the show one more time.

Scranton Event Attracts Hundreds, Raises Thousands
Braving thunder, lightning, pelting rain, flooded streets, and an evacuation of the adjacent town, 417 Penn State faithful came out for the Greater Scranton Chapter’s 28th annual Penn State Night featuring Penn State assistant football coach Tom Bradley.
