When the lights go up on Broad Street
The Alumni Association’s new City Lights program will launch in Philadelphia this spring. The program features networking events that bring Penn Staters together in interesting city venues.

Traditional powwow offers special volunteer opportunities
With the support of the Penn State Alumni Association, Penn State and the State College Area School District will again be sponsoring a traditional American Indian powwow. This year’s event will be held April 9–10 at the Mount Nittany Middle School (at Highways 322 and 45) in State College, and volunteer opportunities are still available.

Alumni Association celebrates Sesquicentennial
On Feb. 22, Penn State celebrated its official Sesquicentennial—150 years of teaching, research, and service to Pennsylvania, the nation, and the world. Units at all Penn State locations were encouraged to recognize the day by serving cake—and many did just that, including your Alumni Association.
