Annapolis Chapter beats the heat and raises money for its scholarship fund
The heat of mid-July couldn’t deter the Annapolis (Md.) Chapter from its scholarship fundraising efforts. The group raised more than $300 through a Creamery ice cream sale at a local Independence Day festival. The group not only raises money for the scholarship fund, but also is a leader in community service.

Professional Women’s Network of L.A. is back from hiatus
On Sept. 23, the newly reformed Professional Women’s Network of Los Angeles held its first event of the 2004–05 year. A relaxed social gathering at West Hollywood’s La Di Da restaurant and art gallery provided guests with the opportunity to network while enjoying appetizers and drinks.

Each year, the Potomac Valley Chapter collects items for Toys for Tots—a national program that collects and distributes holiday gifts to needy children in local communities. Wisconsin Chapter is reorganized and revitalized
The Wisconsin Chapter recently reorganized and has made dramatic progress in a relatively short period of time. The “Penn State Cheesehead”—a collaborative idea of the chapter’s board members—made its debut at the Alumni Association’s pep rally prior to the Wisconsin football game.
