Dear Alumni Volunteers:

In my 11th month as your executive director, nothing has so vividly demonstrated to me the difference the Penn State Alumni Association is making than the events of March 26–April 4. In the span of just 10 days, your Alumni Association:

• Helped to honor doctoral alumni at their first-ever reunion;
• Welcomed legislators to a reception in Harrisburg celebrating Penn State’s status as the Commonwealth’s singular land-grant university;
• Put Penn State on Broadway by co-sponsoring a musical event at Lincoln Center; and
• Co-sponsored the first full-length American Indian powwow in the State College area.

In the coming weeks, I’m looking forward to traveling and speaking to a number of our affiliate groups throughout the country.
