Penn State men’s basketball returns after last year’s Cinderella season culminating in Penn State’s first ever NIT Championship. Armed with some blue chip recruits and a contract good through the 2013–14 season, 2009 Big Ten Coach of the Year Ed DeChellis hopes to propel the program to even greater heights.

Homecoming 2009 Photos: Snow and Special Guests
The historic snowfall that blanketed Happy Valley in mid-October couldn’t dampen the spirits of Penn Staters gathered for Homecoming 2009. This year’s Homecoming Weekend featured the traditional Friday evening parade, guarding the Lion, and a shutout of Big Ten foe Minnesota. And some special guests were on hand for the festivities. Nittany Lion Fund Outperforms During Recession
They meet weekly, discussing portfolios, pitching proposals on stocks to invest in and reviewing threats or opportunities for their fund. But these bright, young investors dressed in sweatpants, jeans and T-shirts are not on Wall Street. Not yet anyway. They’re Penn State students managing actual investors’ money in the $4-million-plus Nittany Lion Fund.
