The Next Logical Step: A Seat on the Board
This September, the Board of Trustees is expected to consider a raft of ideas for governance reform. Among them is a proposal from the Alumni Association for a permanent seat on the board as a full voting member. We believe that a seat on the board is the next logical step in the Alumni Association’s 144-year history of service to alumni and alma mater, and that Penn State would be extremely well served by this change. But it’s important to understand the thinking behind our request.
