Lexus and the USGA Renew a Fruitful Partnership
Luxury car company a perfect match for top-flight golf organization.

Lexus has been the automotive partner of the United States Golf Association (USGA), the country’s most important professional golf association, since 2007. After four years of working together, the USGA and Lexus recently announced an extension of their professional relationship that will maintain Lexus’ status as the exclusive automotive partner and Official Vehicle of the 13 U.S. Open Championships.
 
Many Lexus customers are passionate about golf and Lexus welcomes the opportunity to connect with those fans and create memorable experiences for them at the U.S. Open, the U.S. Women’s Open, the U.S. Senior Open and the U.S. Amateur tournaments. ,
 
In addition to providing vehicles, Lexus has engaged with the USGA on many initiatives. The company has worked to introduce golf to the younger set through its support of Hook a Kid on Golf, a program run by the National Alliance for Youth Sports that is dedicated to knocking dow n the financial barriers that sometimes exist between children and the sport. Lexus has also helped the USGA court more experienced golfers through the Golf Like a Pro Sweepstakes, which provides USGA members with the chance to play alongside a professional like Annika Sorenstam or Johnny Miller the day following several of the organization’s most prominent tournaments.
 
Naturally, Lexus maintains a strong presence at each golf course offering attendees the opportunity to meet and greet professional golfers – both current and retired – but the company also makes sure that participants can obtain autographs and have their photos taken with their heroes from the links. Lexus additionally offers the Lexus Performance Drive Pavilion, a showcase of Lexus automobiles, as well as golf memorabilia including historically significant equipment, photographs and USGA trophies.
 
The partnership between Lexus and the USGA is a natural one, the pairing of two organizations at the very top of their games. The Lexus commitment to automotive quality and high-end luxury is the perfect complement to the USGA’s pursuit of golfing excellence and the promotion of sportsmanship across the country.
