The Chrysler 300 stands out in a sea of boring full-size sedans, and for those drivers who want to make an even bigger statement, Chrysler offers exterior and interior Sport Appearance Packages for the already dark and sophisticated 300S.
“The new 2017 Chrysler 300S re-excites the passion of what owning an American flagship sedan is about,” said Tim Kuniskis, head of Passenger Car Brands – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) – North America. “And now for our Chrysler enthusiasts, two all-new sport appearance packages take the 300S model’s athletic styling and appointments to the next level.”
The exterior Sport Appearance Package, available on V6-equipped 300S trims and standard on V8-equipped 300S versions, has exclusive LED foglamps, a more aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes, sculpted side sills and a deck-lid spoiler.
The 300S is also available with a new “straight shade” Ceramic Gray exterior paint color that provides a unique look. Product designers continue to find additional ways to incorporate other unique color schemes, drawing inspiration from technology, architecture and fashion; the 2017 300S adds Piano Black interior trim and light gray Diesel accent stitching.
The interior Sport Appearance Package adds even more upscale accents and materials. Highlights include perforated leather-upholstered performance seats with contoured suede bolsters for better lateral support while driving. These seats are also heated and ventilated for additional comfort.
As before, the 300 is available with a 3.6-liter V6 with up to 300 hp or a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 363 hp, and both engines paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission with class-exclusive rotary e-shifter. “Sport” mode reduces shift time, increases throttle responsiveness, and brings a more firm steering feel. You can also choose the most innovative all-wheel drive system in the segment. It automatically delivers maximum traction in any conditions, and it features an exclusive rear-axle disconnect system that delivers the fuel efficiency of a two-wheel drive system when all-wheel drive isn’t needed.
The 2017 300 also features the comfort and luxury that are 300 trademarks, with quality craftsmanship and premium materials like sumptuous leather, handsome wood and metal. Other standout features include an available dual-pane panoramic sunroof, a Uconnect® 8.4 infotainment system, and a BeatsAudio™ premium sound system.
