From the 200 and 300 sedans to the best-selling Town & Country minivan, Chrysler builds some of the best vehicles on the road. Chrysler takes giving back to the nation’s communities very seriously. One example of that commitment is the Drive for Kids® fundraiser.
The Drive for Kids® program partners Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA US LLC) and its dealerships with elementary schools across the country to raise money through test drives in Town & Country minivans. This past year, Chrysler rewarded the top schools across five regions of the United States with $5,000 each.
The winning schools are:
Northeast Region:Most Holy Rosary School, Syracuse, New York
Southeast Region: South Cumberland Elementary School, Crossville, Tennessee
Central Region: Hallsville Intermediate School, Hallsville, Texas
Midwest Region: Mount Ayr Middle School, Mount Ayr, Iowa
Western Region: Arma J. Shull Elementary School, San Dimas, California
During the year, participating schools invited friends, family and even staff members to a Drive for the Kids fundraiser that’s held on school grounds. The schools received $10 donations from Chrysler for every person who took a test drive in a Town & Country minivan from an associated dealership. The five schools listen above raised close to $20,000 dollars.
The Town & Country is among the most award-winning minivans on the market and continually receives recognition for its value, amenities and family functionality. Recent accolades include being named “Best Family Hauler,” for the 10th year in a row, in the Detroit News “Readers’ Choice” awards; a 2015 “Best Buy” designation from Consumer Guide Automotive, and being recognized for having the highest Model Loyalty in the “Non-Luxury Mid-Size Van” segment for the 14th consecutive year by HIS Automotive.
Chrysler builds great vehicles, and the company is also a good neighbor who gives back to the communities it serves. Stop by today for more information, or visit www.drive4kids.com to find out more.
