With versatility, safety, innovation and value, the Chrysler Town & Country minivan continues to raise the bar in the segment. For 2015, the award-winning Town & Country adds two additional trims that are available here at Perkins Motors in Colorado Springs, Colorado, broadening its appeal even more.
The seven-passenger Chrysler Town & Country line (MSRP from $29,995) now includes a new entry trim, the value-packed LX, plus Touring, S, Touring-L, and, also new for 2015, top-of-the-line Limited Platinum trims. The Limited Platinum is the most luxurious and well equipped variant in the Town & Country family.
No competitor can match the standard equipment list of the Chrysler Town & Country. Highlights include 17-inch aluminum wheels, leather seats, power sliding doors and liftgate, a ParkView rearview backup camera, a 40GB hard drive, the exclusive Stow ‘n Go®
seating and much more. The Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey and Nissan Quest all offer leather and power doors/liftgate, but you need to move up their trim lines and spend more money to get them, and Stow ‘n Go seating isn’t available on any of the competition at all. Stow ‘n Go second- and third-row seats fold directly into the floor of the Town & Country, creating a completely flat load floor and maximizing cargo space. When the seats are in use, a large in-floor cubby is available at each seat for storage.
In the new Limited Platinum standard technology features include a navigation system and dual-screen Blu-ray/DVD entertainment system. There are also additional luxury and convenience features, like Nappa premium leather seating surfaces, heated front and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, power sunroof, a power-folding third-row seat, and memory for driver’s seat and mirror settings. The Limited Platinum also includes the SafetyTec Package, which brings rain-sensing windshield wipers, ParkSense rear parking assist, and Blind Spot Monitoring with rear Cross Path Detection.
All trims are powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine. A Ward’s “10 Best Engines” selection three consecutive years, the V6 sends a best-in-class 283 hp and 260 lb/ft of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission and returns an EPA-estimated 17 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. The 2015 Town & Country provides a confident and enjoyable driving experience, so regardless of the task at hand, you’ll get there comfortably in a cabin that’s serenely quiet and luxuriously appointed.
Over the past 30-plus years, Chrysler has racked up 78 minivan-first innovations and has sold more than 13 million minivans. Chrysler still leads the way in the segment and continues to make the minivan a better vehicle inside and out. Drivers agree, as the Town & Country was ranked highest in the J.D. Power and Associates 2014 Initial Quality Study.
“This is the third time in four years that Chrysler Town & Country leads the Minivan segment in this quality survey,” said Doug Betts, senior vice president for quality, Chrysler Group LLC. “It reflects the commitment of employees who develop, build and test these vehicles and their recognition that every employee has a role in continually improving the quality of our products.”
The Town & Country is still the best minivan and the best value. Stop in to see and drive the new 2015 Chrysler Town & Country today.
