The epitome of versatility on wheels, the Chrysler Town & Country is equal parts family hauler, moving truck and parental refuge. And since the Town & Country can trace its lineage directly to the minivan that started it all, you know that it overlooks nothing. The 2014 Chrysler Town & Country, on sale here at Perkins Motors in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a standout in the minivan segment for a reason.
With an astounding 76 major firsts in the minivan segment, the seven-passenger Town & Country continues to find ways to make life better and more convenient for families. Starting at an MSRP of $30,765, the 2014 Town & Country is the most award-winning minivan ever; recent accolades include R.L. Polk’s “Highest Owner Loyalty in the Segment” for a 13th
consecutive year, and both Consumer Guide® Automotive
and Consumers Digest
“Best Buy” awards.
The 2014 Town & Country is powered by a proven 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that produces a best-in-class 283 hp and 260 lb/ft of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission. Even with its best-in-class power numbers, the Town & Country returns 25 mpg highway, thanks in part to a fuel economizer and other aerodynamic features.
One of the biggest advantages the Town & Country holds over the competition is its standard and available amenities. Every Town & Country comes standard with leather-covered seating, a DVD player, a power liftgate, the Uconnect® infotainment system, a rearview camera and the Stow ‘n Go® seating system. These features aren’t available on the Toyota Sienna L and the pricier Honda Odyssey EX. In fact you’d have to spend more than $7,100 more to equip the Sienna with just the leather and the DVD player that are standard on the Town & Country. Stow n’ Go® seating, a Town & Country exclusive, allows the second- and third-row seats to fold flat into the floor, creating a maximum cargo capacity of 144 cubic feet. The Town & Country is also the only minivan to offer a one-touch power folding third-row seat, for even more convenience.
New for 2014 is a 30th Anniversary model that includes unique 17-inch wheels with painted Satin Carbon pockets, premium leather upholstery with black Alcantara seat inserts, Piano Black trim, a Super Center Console and an available Granite Crystal Pearl Coat exterior paint color. The special edition is also distinguished by special “30th Anniversary” badging inside and out, and it features heated front- and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel and Keyless Enter-N-Go™. For those who want a minivan with extra attitude, the Town & Country offers an “S” model, like the 200 and 300 sedans. This model shows off a blacked-out grille, fascia, Chrysler badge both front and rear, headlights bezels and wheels. Inside, the blackout treatment continues with a trim-specific interior that includes Torino leather, unique embroidering and stitching, Piano Black appliqués and the “S” logo.
The Chrysler Town & Country has occupant protection covered, too. It earned a “5-Star” side-impact crash rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Standard equipment includes Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control, Trailer Sway Control, Antilock Brakes with Brake Assist and three-row side-curtain airbags. Also available is the SafetyTec™ Package, which adds SmartBeam automatic high-beams, Rain Sensitive windshield wipers, a Tire Pressure Monitoring Display, the ParkSense Rear Park Assist System, and both Blind Spot Monitoring and Rear Cross Path Detection.
Excellent warranty coverage is another Town & Country virtue. A five-year/100,000-mile Powertrain Warranty with Roadside Assistance is standard, and it bests the warranty offerings from Honda, Toyota and Nissan. A three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper Basic Limited Warranty is standard, too.
Stop by today to discover for yourself why the Chrysler Town & Country has won more awards than any other minivan, ever.
