We have a lot to look forward to in the upcoming months, and it’s not just our car lines that are making headlines.  The Patrick Group is thrilled to announce the purchase of our newest franchise…Land Rover.  This is the newest addition to our line-up, which already includes BMW, MINI, Cadillac, Volvo, Saab, Hyundai and Jaguar.  Patrick Land Rover has joined our Jaguar store which is located at 1559 W. Ogden Ave. in Naperville.  We’ve included current specials for Land Rover sales and service in this newsletter.

You may be aware that Patrick has been committed to many charitable causes throughout the years and I am excited to share that for the second year in a row we hosted a St.Baldrick’s Shave-A-Thon and raised $42,000 for Pediatric Cancer research.  St. Baldrick’s Foundation coordinates head shaving events in effort to raise money to support childhood cancer research.  My son, Hanley Dawson IV, President of the Patrick Dealer Group, shaved his head again this year in support of this wonderful cause.  You may have seen the recent commercial airing throughout Chicago which highlighted this event.  We’ve included a link to watch it.

Regarding product news, the Jaguar XF topped Motor Trend’s List for Luxury Sport Sedan in a comparison test against BMW and Lexus.  Also, BMW’s uniquely styled four-seat “sports-activity-coupe” crossover, the X6, is arriving on our showroom floor this summer.  In keeping with the latest trend on being green, we’ve included an article that provides helpful tips that will help you get the most gas mileage out of your vehicle.

Enjoy your summer and we hope to see you soon!

Saab Introduces the Limited Production TURBO X
The Saab brand’s most recognized model from the past, the 900 Turbo, often was ordered in jet black. It would be easy to dismiss the all-new 2008 Saab Turbo X as no big deal, just a turbocharged, Darth Vader black, all-wheel-drive 9-3 sedan. But it’s the unique combination of these traits – luxury, performance and superior styling – that make the Turbo X something more. And the Turbo X draws heavily on the 900 Turbo from the 1970s and 80s, the car that cemented Saab’s niche in the U.S. luxury market.
