Relaxing in the Lap of Luxury: 2010 Jaguar XKR
Drivers can simultaneously experience the thrill of the fast lane while surrounded by luxury in the all-new 2010 Jaguar XKR.

Available as either a coupe or convertible, the all-aluminum XKR quickly reaches top speeds because of its light body weight and all-new 5.0-liter V-8 engine that purrs out 510 horsepower. The transmission in the XKR is a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters.

The design team at Jaguar has improved the interior considerably.  Door casings now feature saddle-stitched lines and more plush trim.  Plus there will be more interior color options, soft-grain leather and chrome highlights for 2010.

On the outside, the front displays a newly designed bumper with a closer-to-the-road mesh grille. Chrome detailing complements the side windows, and the car has a sleek, new rear spoiler and eye-catching side vents.

On the convertible, the folding roof powers up or down in about 20 seconds at the push of a button. When going top-down, the convertible’s roof retracts entirely into the bodywork of the car behind the rear seats, making sure the sleek style that is Jaguar remains.

To keep in-line with environmentally friendly standards, Jaguar has taken steps in reducing CO2 emissions in the XKR by developing an engine designed to reduce internal friction, which in turn increases fuel efficiency and decreases emissions.  The car remains a performance auto, but these efforts are a step in the right direction for helping to create a cleaner environment.

Whether you are looking for top-of-the-line performance or the absolute pinnacle of luxury, Jaguar models always fit the bill.
