2008 BMW M3 Voted Top Sports Car by MSN Autos

Rumored to be the best M3 yet, the 2008 BMW M3 ranks high on MSN’s 2008 list of Top Ten Sports Cars.  This year’s M3 ups the ante with a high revving 4 liter V8 engine, giving this sports car the power to boast 0 to 62 mph in 4.8 seconds.  Aggressive inside and out, the 2008 M3 features a power dome in the middle of the hood, gills in the front fenders, a rear diffuser, and four tail pipes.

As with previous generations, the 2008 BMW M3 is available as a coupe, sedan, or convertible.  The M3 comes equipped with either a 6-speed manual transmission or 7-speed M double clutch transmission with Drivelogic.  Drivelogic is a device that transfers engine power to the road with minimal abruption, which makes for more dynamics and more comfort, two seemingly antithetical concepts.  Yet, it is precisely the smooth and speedy ride that makes the 2008 M3 a force to be reckoned with.
