Introducing the All-New 2009 Volvo XC60

As 2009 approaches, anticipation for the new Volvo XC60 gains momentum.  Hailed for its innovative safety features, such as standard “City Safety,” a device that at slower speeds automatically applies the breaks to avoid collision, and “Hill Descent Control,” a single button that fully controls hill descent, the XC60 is a small premium utility vehicle with a big reputation.

Beyond the Volvo safety staples, the cross-over is packed with a 6-cylinder, turbocharged T6 engine capable of 285 horsepower.  All-wheel drive and 6-speed automatic transmission come standard on the XC60.  The 4x4 capabilities and compact, coupe styled body fuse elements of the already acclaimed XC90 and C30.  Some interior features to look forward to include electronic climate control, cruise control, and leather steering wheel with remote audio controls.

Sleek and practical, the Volvo XC60 is specifically designed for the active urban lifestyle and will be available early 2009 with an estimated MSRP between $35,000 and $38,000.
