2009 BMW 7 Series, Now Equipped With Night Vision

The 2009 BMW 7 Series will not only be noticed for a sleek new styling, but an abundance of technological enhancements.  Among the additions are a new night-vision-system capable of detecting a living presence in front of the sedan.  Once a live being is detected, a warning triangle will flash on the display panel.  Furthermore, the night vision camera will be enhanced with better resolution and capable of improved object recognition. The driver will be more accurately warned if he or she is in danger of collision with either an object or human.

The camera will also be capable of perceiving rain, fog, and other foul weather side-effects.  Other key developments include active cruise control with a new stop-and-go capability, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, heads-up display, along with side-view and reversing cameras.

The new BMW 7 Series is expected to hit our showroom in the spring of 2009 with an estimated base price of $80,000 to $84,000.
