As reported in our April 1, 2002 newsletter issue, the Colorado Legislature last year passed legislation making it a class 6 felony for an owner in a homeowner or condominium association to violate the association's covenants. Hindman to Retire??
Rumors continue to circulate that Tom Hindman, managing partner of Orten & Hindman, is retiring from the practice of law. Hindman was quoted at a recent boot camp as saying "After 25 years of practicing community association law, I think I finally got it. So from this point forward I won't be practicing anymore." APRIL FOOLS!
