Community Associations Grappling with Rising Insurance Costs
Below is an interesting article on the multi-family insurance market after 9/11 which is taken from the monthly feature article on the CAI-New England web site. Comments from insurance professionals attending the CAI Law Seminar in Washington, D.C. last week confirm that premiums are going up 30% for associations without any extraordinary claims or loss history. Associations with significant claims and losses are seeing increases of up to 300% in their premiums.
