- Another year with increases in the number of delinquent owners at least through July.
- Another year for HOA legislation, including foreclosures, exemptions from all or parts of the Colorado Common Interest Ownership Act (CCIOA) for small and mixed communities, and super liens.
- There will continue to be more discussions about manager licensing but as in past years there won’t be any legislation introduced.
- The number of homes in foreclosure will continue to increase.
- An HOA will be sued by an owner for failing to have the required SB 100 policies or failing to make required disclosures.
- Management companies will continue to offer even more ancillary and alacarte services to associations.
- Written newsletters as the primary means of communicating with homeowners will decline and be replaced with various forms of electronic communication.
- More management companies will open branch offices up and down the Front Range.
- Home sales will continue to be stagnant.
- Following a major mistake in either the filing or release of an assessment lien that results in a financial loss to an owner a manager will be charged with the unauthorized practice of law resulting in a fine in the thousands.
