Your Legislative Information Has A New Address – www.hoalegislate.com
On January 11, the 2006 legislative session begins – and on the agenda is a SB 100 Clean-up Bill and possibly other bills that will affect your homeowner association. During the last legislative session, you needed to know what was happening at the Capitol and turned towards us for information. We kept you informed to the best of our abilities by posting articles on our website and e-newsletter about the progress of the ever-changing Senate Bill 05-100 as it traveled through the legislature on its way to the Governor’s desk. After SB 100 became law, our website and e-newsletter also contained articles explaining the ramifications of the new law and providing SB 100 resources for your use. This year, we wanted to do an even better job of keeping you all informed. Keeping up with the legislature requires an ability to quickly post recent developments and disseminate that information to interested parties. That is why, in addition to our website and e-newsletter which will continue to inform you about other association topics, we are launching a blog – the HOA Legi-Slate. Though a blog looks much like a traditional website, it differs in that its format allows us to post frequent updates and fresh information as it becomes available, making it perfect for legislative news. In addition, interested individuals are notified immediately of each new post by “subscribing” to the blog. Subscribers are notified of each new posting by an email that contains an excerpt of the post. If the excerpt is of interest, subscribers only have to click on the link to be brought to the blog site and the full article. HindmanSanchez’s new blog, The HOA Legi-Slate, is your source to receive up-to-the-minute updates about the legislative activities affecting homeowner associations, along with HindmanSanchez’s analysis and legislative resources. To sign up for the HOA Legi-Slate, visit www.hoalegislate.com, and enter your email under ‘Subscribe By Email’ and hit the ‘Go’ button. You will receive a confirmation email shortly thereafter. Don’t miss a post, subscribe now at www.hoalegislate.com!
