The April Newsletter article entitled “Small Claims Lawsuits—No Small Matter” stated that a claimant filing a small claims lawsuit must serve a copy of the lawsuit upon the defendant not later than 10 days before the trial date. Please note that the actual time frame is 15 days prior to the trial date. We apologize for this error.
