With Election Day occurring on Tuesday, September 10, 2002, it's critical that we "turn up" the support for the Change 4 Kids initiative.

The Orlando Regional Chamber has a supply of "Yard Signs" in support of Change 4 Kids stored in the lobby of our building at 75 South Ivanhoe Boulevard,Orlando, FL 32802. We encourage everyone to stop by and take one or more home in a show of support for the half penny sales tax proposition to fund $2.7 billion in critically needed school repairs and new construction.

Change 4 Kids is a state-registered and regulated committee responsible for overseeing the campaign, raising the money and conducting the research groups necessary to gauge the level of voter support (or opposition) to the tax and help craft the message for the campaign. To succeed, this effort must be as inclusive as possible-with a goal of involving 100 community organizations representing business, non-profits, racial/ethnic groups, parents, teachers and faith-based organizations.
