Did you know there are more
than 250 Postal
Customer Councils (PCCs) across the nation representing the companies that
are part of the mailing industry? Sponsored by the United
States Postal Service (USPS), PCC members keep abreast of the latest postal
developments through meetings, vendor events, educational sessions, mailer clinics,
and seminars. They work closely with local post offices to make mail service
more efficient, timely, relevant, and profitable. The USPS views the PCC
program as an important avenue for improving customer service, customer satisfaction,
and corporate profitability.
The mission of the PCC program is to:
- Promote local cooperation
and support and to foster a close working relationship between the United
States Postal Service and all businesses that use the mail to communicate
and interact with their customers
- Share information and
facilitate the exchange of ideas about new and existing USPS products, programs,
services, and procedures that affect every business that uses the mail
- Help PCC members and
their organizations grow and develop professionally through focused educational
programs
- Promote cooperation and
support between PCC members and others who are dedicated to quality and efficiency
in the mailing industry
If your business uses the
mail as communication and fulfillment media with your customers, you will benefit
from the PCCs regular networking forums. Youll be able to
maintain a close working relationship with your postmaster and other postal
managers. Youll find opportunities to meet other mailers, mailing
experts, vendors from the mailing and fulfillment industry, and managers from
the Postal Service to discuss issues that affect a single business or the entire
mailing industry.
Belonging to a PCC means:
- Networking hear
how to put others best practices to use for you; share knowledge at
critical mailing times
- Information help
your business to be more productive
- Communication
