The Central Florida Innovation Corporation (CFIC) presents Innovation Florida 2002 – An Early Stage Capital Raising Conference, on Wednesday, September 18, 2002.  The event is sponsored by Akerman Senterfitt, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Business Wire and the University of Central Florida Research/Technology Incubator. Sustaining sponsors include Ernst & Young LLP, the Florida Venture Forum, Maddux Report and the Orlando Business Journal.
 
Innovation Florida 2002 is an annual regional early stage capital conference that connects Florida’s hottest private technology companies with leading investors, venture capitalists and financiers for an exclusive financial and business-development event.   Over the past six years, former presenters of the conference have been successful in raising over $130 million.
 
The companies presenting at Innovation Florida 2002 reflect the strongest growing early-stage investment opportunities in technological industries such as life sciences, computer software, Internet-related product services, public safety and consumer technology products.
