OC Hispanic Chamber Honors OCBC's Latino Educational Attainment Intiative
The Orange County Business Council is pleased to announce that its program, Latino Educational Attainment (LEA), is being honored by the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as Education Program of the year at the 2009 Estrella Awards.
This award is presented to an individual or organization that has demonstrated commitment to the Hispanic community through the support, advancement, and education of Hispanic youth, small business, and corporate partnerships to promote long-term academic and/or professional success. Representatives and community leaders from Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Diego counties attend this event and support the Chamber’s overall goals of advancing the Hispanic community.
