Rutgers Wins 6th Annual Investment Research Challenge
 Rutgers University was announced the winner of NYSSA’s 6th Annual Investment Research Challenge following the panel presentation on April 9, 2008. They closed the Nasdaq on April 16, received $5,000 which will go to their business school, and received the new iPod Touch. Rutgers also went on to compete against teams from Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America in the 2nd Annual Global Investment Research challenge on May 1. |

Opportunity Knocks
 NYSSA, in conjunction with the Women@Work Network, presented "Opportunity Knocks! Reopen the Door to New Career Options" on April 1, 2008. The objective of the program was to assist women transitioning back into the workforce following a hiatus due to layoffs, childrearing or other reasons. Forty women and two brave men came to NYSSA to learn how to reenter the workforce, overcome obstacles that may present themselves and meet people in similar situations.
