NYSSA is currently seeking member volunteers to help with our student programs that begin this Fall. As you know, NYSSA has a long tradition of nurturing professional competence, ethics and excellence, providing a foundation for the personal and professional growth of college students and the investment industry of tomorrow.
The Investment Research Challenge is an educational initiative in which business and finance students learn how to research and report on a publicly traded company. We currently have a need for volunteers to help with grading the research reports and mentoring the student teams.
The SEMI Program stands for Scholarship, Education, Mentoring and Internship and is open for undergraduate students with an interest in finance. Volunteers are needed to fill the role of Mentors and work with individual students dispensing career advice or providing knowledge in your area of financial expertise.
For more information on how you can volunteer for this years IRC or SEMI program, please contact Brian Stype at bstype@nyssa.org.
