NYSSA Members Vote for Board of Directors at Annual Meeting

On May 19, 2009, NYSSA members convened at the organization’s headquarters to vote for the new board of directors for the 2009–2010 membership year. The annual meeting also included a presentation of the society’s accomplishments from the past year which includes an online community for our 13 committees; a greater online presence via sites such as Twitter and LinkedIn; and new, highly attended career programs.

Join the Society in congratulating our officers of the Board of Directors:

Kathy A. O’Connor, CFA, is now executive vice president. O’Connor is a partner and portfolio manager at KJ Capital Management LLC. Previously, she co-managed portfolios at Morgan Stanley, New York Life Investment Management and Towneley Capital Management.

Mary Jane McQuillen is secretary. McQuillen is a director and portfolio management team member for social awareness investment portfolios at ClearBridge Advisors (formerly Citigroup Asset Management), a unit of Legg Mason. Her responsibilities include integrating environmental, social, and governance research into the portfolio selection process.

R. Bruce Cameron, CFA, was selected as treasurer.
