The Yale University team was selected as the winner of the 7th Annual Investment Research Challenge, held on February 19 at Thomson Reuters in Times Square. This year's winning team opened the NASDAQ Stock Market on February 27 and will compete in the 3rd Annual Global Investment Research Challenge in London.
"This was truly an incredible experience for the entire team. By working with a group of both undergrads and MBA candidates, we were able learn from each other's strengths and develop a good mix of complementary skills” said Steven Hao, Yale’s team captain. “Although there was a huge amount of hard work involved, we definitely had a lot of fun, and will leave this competition with many good memories. Looking ahead, we are very excited to represent NYSSA at the CFA Institute GlobalFinals, and hope to leave a lasting mark on the world stage."
