New Member Reception
On Friday, December 12, NYSSA welcomed its newest members of the Society with an evening reception. Alvin Kressler, NYSSA’s executive director, started the evening by discussing the variety of member benefits that these new members now had access to. Membership committee chair, Mary Stober Murray, familiarized everyone with the 13 committees: Alternative Investments, Career Development, Corporate Governance, Derivatives, Global Investing, Improved Corporate Reporting, Institutional Asset Management, Investment Strategy, Membership, Private Wealth Management, Sustainable Investing, Student, and Value Investing.
Representatives from each committee were on hand to discuss committee activities, upcoming programs, and new initiatives. Current committee members also attended to welcome our newest members and help them become more involved in NYSSA.
