Robert Murphy, CFA, FRM, CAIA, has been appointed director, investment strategies group of Ivy Asset Management Corp., a global fund of hedge funds that is part of BNY Mellon Asset Management. In this new position, he will work with the global investment team and have a range of responsibilities, including elements of the investment research, product development and portfolio management processes. Murphy joins Ivy from Meridian Capital Partners, where he was a partner and member of the firm's portfolio management group. Christopher McFadden, CFA, has joined Health Evolution Partners as a managing director of the Growth Fund and will establish the New York office for Health Evolution Partners. He has over 12 years of health care industry experience as a research analyst and investor. Prior to joining Health Evolution Partners, he was a managing director at Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. directing debt and equity investments in private and public North American-based health care companies as part of the Americas Special Situations Group. McFadden received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Richmond and studied graduate economics at Virginia Commonwealth University.
