In conjunction with one of New York’s leading business schools, NYSSA is developing a series of cross-functional, skill-enhancement programs that will enable members to better meet the increased demands of today’s business world. Tapping the expertise of Fordham Business School’s faculty, NYSSA will offer Maximizing Team and Personal Performance: ALLIED EFFORT on May 19 and Customer Experience and the Brand for Financial Products on June 9. Both programs are designed for financial professionals and offer skill-building techniques that will give them a competitive edge within their organization and in the marketplace.
Timothy O’Toole--former NCAA basketball coach, current adjunct faculty member at Fordham Business School and speaker for Fordham’s Executive Education leadership programs--will teach "Maximizing Team and Personal Performance." Francis Petit, assistant dean of Executive Programs and adjunct professor of marketing, will lead "Customer Experience and the Brand for Financial Products." He will demonstrate how to create a differentiated product or service and develop customers as "brand evangelists."
These programs and the others that will follow, including "Negotiations," "Story Selling," and "Creating and Executing Strategy," will equip NYSSA members with the skills to work more efficiently and cross- functionally within their departments and add greater value to their company. NYSSA has developed a strong relationship with the area’s top business schools and we have begun to utilize their talent pool to improve our member benefits and deliver the highest-quality programming.
