On January 28, 2008, the Improved Corporate Reporting Committee hosted a conference on recent changes in financial reporting requirements. A panel of four experienced practitioners discussed a number of accounting hot topics including fair value measurement, employee benefits and international convergence. Panelists’ presentations covered not only the technical aspects of the accounting changes, but more importantly provided practical advice on how these changes will affect company analysis.
