From Email Survey: Is the use of personal e-mail accounts and accessing the Internet permissible at your company?
1. 50% of responders report employees have complete freedom to check their personal email and access the web.
2. 25% of responders report the company’s computers are set-up to block access to the Internet.
3. 25% of responders report most employees are blocked from email and Internet use. Employees that have been identified as needing Internet access to perform their jobs are provided access.
