Fresh Sourdough Express Restaurant and Bakery
Happy "Green" 25th Anniversary!

Donna and Kevin Maltz Donna and Kevin Maltz celebrated 25 years operating the Fresh Sourdough Express Restaurant and Bakery in Homer last month. It was a milestone, for sure.  You see, Donna has practicing green policies such as fresh/local food sourcing, sustainability and reducing the carbon foot print of her restaurant, but she was especially energized this summer to meet others at Global Food Alaska 2007 where these issues are at the forefront of sourcing foods.  It wasn't that way when she started her restaurant and now she plans to further expand her mission in Homer, Alaska.
