Creating Customer Confidence In A Product and Business
The Only Thing Wild Now Is The Fish

Rick A. Roeske, Program Manager, Kenai Wild

Have you been to the Peninsula lately?  You can't visit without hearing about Kenai Wild.  It is a remarkable story about harvesters and small processors coming together improve their economic future through a new business model.   Today, that is called Kenai Wild (Cook Inlet Salmon Branding, Inc.)   In a statewide teleconference earlier this year, the Program Manager, Rick Roeske reported on the status of the Kenai Wild brand.   His report was brief and to the point.   He stated that the harvesters were seeing higher incomes, there were increased numbers of harvesters, the processors were realizing higher prices and the buyers were regularly returning to source more Kenai Wild brand.  This stood out from other presentations and one audience member, immediately asked, "How did you do that?"    It was like the old E.F. Hutton commercial when the room went silent to hear the closely guarded secret.
